 In 1995 The PHT vision began as I struggled through my learning journey at the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing as a single mom, while working as a CNA/nurse's aide. I began to think about how to innovate online learning and encouragement for future students like myself, with the much-needed flexibility and support to also accommodate a job and family responsibilities. Soon after graduation and re-entering the healthcare field as an RN, I was saddened and disappointed with how workplace chaos divided and negatively impacted the trio of employer, employee and the quality of patient care.

 I went back to school for an MBA toward a vision of building an innovative, supportive, online healthcare training platform, for the improvement of employee health/job satisfaction, a higher quality of patient care, generating higher revenues for the employer and strengthening the healthcare industry as a whole.

 My vision began to materialize in 2020 when an opportunity to train residential healthcare staff dropped into my lap. 

Today, with the help of my superb kids pictured above, I provide workforce training and administrative consulting for over 45 residential care agencies in Maine.  Our secret sauce is my holistic teaching and learning approach of "a well-trained team and self-esteem", with expansion to other States, along with my own branch of natural health courses and a vision to be the global leader in healthcare training.
